This is some art for Pixar’s new film Coco! I just got back from vacation where I saw the movie, so I am just getting the chance now to make this (tho I did sketch the first version in the hotel room :P)
Coco is such a creative movie! Some people might be put off from it bc of all the skeletons and stuff, but it is not done in a scary or a way to purposely freak people out. The plot is amazing and well written, and the characters are all really lovable. The art in the movie is also spectacular! 😀
Ok so this Mama Imelda, the main character Miguel’s great-great-grandmother. I loved her character design, as well as how caring she is for her family as well as her ability to get back up on her feet after being abandoned.
Mrs. Incredible, Elastigirl, Helen Parr, whatever you want to call her, she’s pretty amazing!
Also, you don’t have to worry about proportions when drawing Elastigirl, right? I mean, she’s STRETCHY, right?? XD 😉
I basically just traced over the art I did of Boo and Sulley yesterday 🙂 Kind of got to use a fun-watercolor brush on this one ^-^
Today I had the PSAT ^-^ It’s like a weight off my shoulders to have that done!
For Inktober today, I drew Boo and Sulley from Monsters Inc. I love how the lineart turned out, but I’m a bit disappointed with the ink coloring, bc it’s quite obvious where the pen strokes are (so I might go over it in digital later, but I’m not sure yet 😛 🙂 )
This is from Pixar’s short film I Lava You 🙂 I just decided to draw it for fun because I had the song stuck in my head 😛
Dug drawn with micron pen and colored pencil 😛 Why are my lines so crooked 😥
A bright, sweet scene of Carl and Ellie (from Up if you didn’t know for some reason :P) gazing up at the sky. ❤
